Clarington Ward 2

Proven experience. Fresh momentum.

Kathleen Flynn brings experience in elected public leadership, a career grounded in research and communication, and a collaborative approach to solving complex problems.

Residents should not need hours of free time to understand what Council is deciding. Kathleen will do the homework, ask informed questions, work to bring the right people together and keep Ward 2 informed.

Elected KPR Trustee for Clarington
B.Ed. + M.Ed. · Professor and Elected Trustee
Kathleen Flynn, candidate for Local Councillor in Clarington Ward 2

Why Kathleen

Public leadership is more than having an opinion.

Serving as an elected trustee has taught Kathleen how to work effectively within a complex public system—reviewing reports and budgets, weighing competing priorities, hearing from residents, working with fellow elected officials and senior staff, and making decisions she can clearly explain to the public.

Her work as a professor brings another strength. Kathleen regularly researches complex issues, identifies what matters and explains them in clear, useful language.

On Council, she will listen carefully, understand the issue, ask informed questions, bring the right people together and keep residents updated as decisions move forward.
